It is always a better learning experience if books are discussed in pairs or in groups, in my opinion. They could be useful laminated and in a literacy center. The book can be read aloud and selected activities done in class. Small groups could be working on different activities at the same time. They could also be used as homework, with guided groups, or with book groups. These activities can be used for individual, small group, for the whole class.
